A family name with a global history
Glajola Resources began in Nigeria in 2003 as a business founded by three brothers with an ambition to build opportunities beyond one market. Starting in general merchandise and trading and real estate, the family developed the Glajola name through business activities in Nigeria, India, Dubai, and the United Kingdom. Each chapter brought new relationships, new experiences, and a broader understanding of how to serve people from different backgrounds.
Joseph U. Ojukwu brought that entrepreneurial spirit to the United States, establishing Glajola Resources here in 2015. As he built his career in insurance, he recognized a need for guidance that felt personal and straightforward. People were being asked to make important decisions about their health and financial protection, often while trying to understand unfamiliar terms, changing options, and complex enrollment processes. Joseph wanted Glajola to be a place where they could ask questions and receive clear, patient answers.
Today, Glajola Resources Inc serves individuals and families in Texas and Kentucky, including Richmond and Houston, Texas. As an independent agency, we help clients explore health insurance, Medicare, life insurance, dental, vision, and other available coverage options. Our international roots shape the way we work: we welcome people from many communities, listen to their individual circumstances, and take the time to explain their choices.

Joseph U. Ojukwu
Joseph U. Ojukwu is the founder and CEO of Glajola Resources Inc an Insurance Services. He is an entrepreneur and insurance professional whose work brings together international business experience, a background in information technology, and a personal commitment to serving families and communities.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. His education gave him an appreciation for solving problems, organizing information, and making complicated systems easier to use. He brings that same approach to insurance: understanding the details, explaining them in everyday language, and helping each client see how a choice may affect their family.
Before focusing on Glajola’s insurance services, Joseph helped develop the family’s business interests across multiple countries. After establishing Glajola Resources in the United States, he began working in insurance in 2016 and gained experience with other insurance organizations. Those years gave him direct experience speaking with clients, learning their concerns, and guiding them through decisions about coverage.
Joseph later brought his insurance work under the Glajola name. He leads the agency with the belief that clients deserve more than a list of plans or a quick enrollment. They deserve someone who will listen, explain the options honestly, answer follow-up questions, and be available when their needs change.
Based in the Houston area, Joseph works with people from many walks of life, including families navigating the U.S. insurance system for the first time. His goal is to make every client feel informed, respected, and confident about the next step.
